Please feel free to contact us if the answer to your question is not found below.
Do I need to have some background knowledge of Forex before coming on the course?
NO - the course is especially designed for people who know nothing and assumes no knowledge of Forex. We actually prefer it when our students know nothing at all and come with a fresh and open mind.
Do I need a lot of technical knowledge? I wasn't that brilliant at school.
Absolutely NOT. Learning to trade is more about good old common sense than about I.Q.
How much time will I need to allow? I have a full-time job.
You will need one-and-a-half to two hours a day on average (split to suit you) - with perhaps a little 'catch-up' time on the week-end. get it) for this kind of mentorship and ongoing personal support.
Do all of your students go on to trade for a living?
We aim to empower everyone to become intelligent, independent and profitable traders. We teach patience, discipline and a lot about the psychology of trading successfully, as well as knowledge of Forex. Some people go on to trade for a living, some trade in their spare time for an improved quality of life. I consider both of these outcomes a success - but I don't record which is which.
Is this the same thing as Spread Betting?
No, they are not the same. Spread betting is a type of speculation that involves taking a wager on the price movement of a security. Bets are placed on whether the price will be lower than the bid or higher than the offer, and the actual security is not owned. Trading Forex on the other hand is the actual buying and selling of currencies with hopes that one currency will rise or fall against the other.
Are there ongoing hidden costs, like charting and training rooms?
NO other costs whatsoever.
